There are few companies that have been successful in the industry of baby products. Some companies have been successful in launching specific products for babies such as car seats and strollers but they failed to replicate their brand’s popularity in other products. One company however, proved to be successful in launching different types of products.

Evenflo is one of the rare companies that were able to promote themselves not only as a company for specific product but generally as a brand name for all things related to babies. The company was established in 1920 in Ravena, Ohio. But their present headquarters is now based in Vandalia, Ohio since 1998. Evenflo in the start opted to focus first in baby feeding products. The products instantly became a hit as these products catered to the immediate needs of the mothers across the country. Slowly the company expanded by adding factories and range of products. The company eventually expanded outside the country when they created a facility in Tijuana to cater to the demands of their products in 1989.

The products of Evenflo are wide range that moms could almost get all the products they need from this brand only. Competing with big companies, they also have their own line of baby car seats. These car seats could be purchased as a stand alone car seat or a car seat that comes with a stroller, making it a convertible car seat. They also have their own line of diaper bags and their own line of baby carriers called the Snugli Carrier. The company continues production of their own line of feeding and nursing products. The highlight of this line of products is the complete system called the ELAN breastfeeding system which collects all the things a mother needs in feeding their kids, except the milk. They also have, in limited edition, bath products such as bath tubs and baby potties and baby monitors. Evenflo is not only limited to servicing the infants; they also have their own line of toys. One good example of this product is a remote controlled swing for toddlers. Instead of manually swinging the kids, you can now do it remotely. You can either start or stop the swing with a push of a button and baby music can also be played with a push of a button. The company also shares some tips on things related to the products they sell in their own website.

They also have their own share of recalls. Lately, the company ordered a recall on their Triumph car seats made especially for convertibles. These car seats could easily be broken off by toddlers, causing them to choke on it if eaten.

The products of Evenflo are not only found in the US alone. They also have headquarters in Canada, Mexico and the Philippines. This expansion was made possible since Evenflo’s ownership was transferred in 2004 to another private company, Harvest Partners. Established in 1981, the company is in control of more than 60 companies worldwide.
